Halloween is fast approaching, and if you haven’t thought of a costume yet, there’s still time!
This is the one holiday where we get the opportunity to dress up however we want.
Sometimes, you know what you want to be right away. Others, it’s more difficult, and you rack your brain trying to find the best costume idea.
If you need some inspiration, here are five fun and unique Halloween costume ideas.
1. The Twins from “The Shining”
With the releases of the “It” and “Gerald’s Game” movies, Stephen King stories are definitely in right now.
Pennywise will probably be the most popular Stephen King character this Halloween, so why not go with one of the classics, instead?
With matching outfit and fake blood, you and a friend can easily make yourselves look terrifying.
2. Día de los Muertos
The Day of the Dead is a popular holiday in Mexico, where people pay tribute to those they have lost.
Many dress up in extravagant costumes for the occasion, blending beautiful formal clothing with elaborate face paints.
3. A Fighter Pilot from “Top Gun”
Depending on when you first saw “Top Gun” and how well you remember it, you probably either think it was completely awesome or ridiculously corny.
There’s no doubt that the movie spawned an iconic look, though, and it’s an easy costume to put together. Tom Cruise also recently signed on for a sequel, which means you could get some extra use out of your costume later.
